Provides that a person committed solely on the basis of being"in need of assisted outpatient mental health treatment" is committed Official Print - 37 1450-S2 AMH JINK H2270.2 to less restrictive alternative treatment, rather than a program of "assisted outpatient mental health treatment." 2. Defines the services that must and may be provided to personscommitted to less restrictive alternative treatment, regardless ofthe standard on which the person was committed. 3. Requires any petition for less restrictive treatment toinclude a proposal for the services the order should include, ratherthan only petitions for persons alleged to meet the "in need ofassisted outpatient treatment" standard. 4. Provides that regional support network contracts must requirethat the regional support network provide statutorily identifiedservices to persons court ordered to less restrictive alternativetreatment under specified circumstances.
