Requires the department of general administration, along with the departments of health and ecology, to identify and recommend environmentally preferred cleaning products to be used by all state agencies.   Official Text and Analysis.

Specifically identifies three programs that provide nationally recognized accrediting information on cleaning products. It also requires that cleaning products listed as environmentally preferred for use by state agencies include products that have a comparable level of performance to those that are being replaced by agencies.

Requires state agencies to purchase and use cleaning products having properties that minimize potential impacts to human health and the environment. The bill also directs the Department of General Administration, in consultation with the Departments of Health and Ecology, to identify and publish a list of environmentally-preferred cleaning products for use by state agencies.
