2007 House Bill 1011: Revising provisions relating to alien firearm licenses.

To revise provisions relating to the application procedures for receiving an alien firearms license. The bill would require the local police or sheriff’s office to issue an alien firearm license to a nonimmigrant alien resident within sixty days of application. This bill applies to firearms used for hunting or sport shooting. Violators would be subject to a class C felony.   Official Text and Analysis.
