2010 Senate Joint Resolution 8221: Sunsetting all new tax increases after five years.
  1. Introduced by Sen. Val Stevens, (R-Arlington) (R) on January 14, 2010, proposes an amendment to the state Constitution to provide that all new tax increases expire no later than five years after becoming effective.
    • Referred to the Senate Ways & Means Committee on January 14, 2010.

 This should apply to ALL laws (except those relating to infringing on anothers rights) and ALL taxes. Thank you!
