2005 House Bill 1175 (Revising control over the disposition of human remains)

  • Introduced by Rep. John McCoy, (D-Tulalip) on January 18, 2005, to provide that, if any person to whom the right of control of human remains has been charged with first or second degree murder or first degree manslaughter in connection with the death of the person whose remains are in question, the right of control is relinquished. This bill also establishes provisions for to whom the remains will be passed in such an event.
